TINY MALE FIDDLER CRABS in an aquarium at the Virginia Marine Science Museum were waving their big claws back and forth in a courtship dance the other morning.
Nearby, museum visitor Rachel Pavelick, 3, was waving, too, imitating the tiny crabs. With a big oven mitt on her right hand, she was doing the fiddler crab dance in front of a fun-house mirror. Her mom and dad, Linda and Edward Pavelick and the rest of her family, visiting here from Glenside, Pa., watched and laughed at her antics.
That aquarium with its hands-on fun is called ``Crabs Gone A-Courtin' '' and youngsters are urged to use the big mitt ...
