NORFOLK -- Fourth-grader Casey Love took special care painting his stingray Friday. His soft brushstrokes of gray and brown eventually formed a shimmering body on an ocean-blue canvas.
He watched Wyland - ``the whale guy,'' Ocean View Elementary students called him - as the artist stood over Casey's shoulder and painted one of his famous dark blue whales.
The internationally known marine-life artist and a dozen children painted a mural for the school Friday, but Wyland had traveled to Virginia for something bigger.
