FOR TWO YEARS, Norfolk artist Lorraine Fink waited for the discomfort to pass - first from an out-of-the-blue depression and then from the physical pain of hip replacement.
After 30 years of continuous artmaking, yielding 28 solo exhibits, she took her first hiatus. In January, the veils lifted and the work began to flow.
The results of her ensuing flurry of painting are on display at the Hermitage Foundation Museum in Norfolk. She is ideally paired with Norfolk ceramic sculptor Rita Marlier, with whom she has exhibited numerous times over the years.
