NORFOLK -- Arson investigators from across southeast Virginia gathered Friday to pore over the twisted, smoking debris of a warehouse, hoping to find the cause of the three-alarm blaze that destroyed it Thursday night.
Pockets of flames still flared Friday morning at the warehouse, owned by T.A. Sheets Mechanical and leased by Champion Fence Co. No one was injured during the blaze at the warehouse, located near Tidewater Drive and Virginia Beach Boulevard.
Firefighters stayed at the scene all night, pouring water on deep piles of lumber and metal. By Friday morning, fresh crews on ladders ...
