NORFOLK -- Police are searching for a bank robbery suspect who is a Pennsylvania prison escapee and is wanted on various charges in three other states.
Edward Thomas Brown, 32, is wanted in connection with the Wednesday robbery of the Signet Bank in the 2000 block of Granby St., said spokesman Larry Hill.
Hill said a suspect fitting Brown's description walked up to a teller at 9:05 a.m., implied that he had a gun, then handed her a note demanding cash. When the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber ran out a back door.
