A boat that looks like a jet and flies over water and land so fast it was once a Soviet military secret is coming to the Norfolk waterfront.
With its debut today at an aircraft refinishing plant in Maryland, the Xtreme Xplorer, an ``air cushion'' vehicle that screams along at up to 110 mph, will become a presence at Nauticus and a dream of promoters who want to make Norfolk an international center for state-of-the-art marine transportation.
