CHESAPEAKE -- An aviation electronics technician who dreamed of working on airplanes since childhood was among the two first-class petty officers selected as U.S. Atlantic Fleet Sailors of the Year Thursday night.
Adm. J. Paul Reason, Commander in Chief of the U.S. Atlantic Fleet, announced the winners of the 27th annual Sea and Shore Sailor of the Year competition banquet at the Chesapeake Conference Center.
