A Norfolk man wanted by the FBI and police in five states is believed responsible for a bank-robbery spree in Utah on Wednesday that ended in the shooting of a university police officer.
The FBI issued a local lookout Thursday for Carl Douglas Consolvo, 38, who grew up in Virginia Beach and once lived on Seaview Avenue. He has friends and relatives in this area and is known to visit go-go bars in the Ocean View area.
Consolvo has been on the run since January, when he was connected to a rape in Chesapeake. He also is sought on charges of carjacking and abduction in Norfolk.
