IN THE mid-'80s, when Restless Heart enjoyed chart dominance, Vince Gill opened some shows for them. Saturday, Restless Heart is opening for Gill at the GTE Virginia Beach Amphitheater.
Greg Jennings, John Dittrich, Paul Gregg, and Larry Stewart - the original quartet - are traveling the comeback trail. They had been a rousing success from 1984 to 1994, when they decided to call it quits.
Ironically, guitarist Jennings joined the Gill gang. Dittrich joined the short-lived Buffalo Club, Gregg concentrated on songwriting, and Stewart was a solo performer, scoring a Top 10 hit with ``Alright Already.''
