DALLAS _ Few really expected Brett Hull to come to the Stars as an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 1998.
No one _ not Tarot card readers, not the Psychic Friends, not Stars management _ could have predicted what would happen next.
In less than three seasons, Hull has complained about defensive play in the NHL and forged a great line chemistry with Mike Modano, complained about the Stars system and scored the Stanley Cup-winning goal in 1999, complained about the dwindling entertainment value in hockey and led the playoffs in scoring in 2000.
This season, he has kept up the complaints.
