Emphasising its commitment to attracting inward investment into the country's mineral industry, the Government of Mauritania has launched several initiatives aimed at improving investment conditions in the mining sector. These include projects aimed at enhancing the geological database and mapping system as well as the management of geological information, improving the industry's health and safety structure, and reinforcing the institutional support.
