VIRGINIA BEACH -- From the front porch of their Ocean Park home on Raleigh Avenue, the Janezeck family looks out to a vision of the past. It is a sandy landscape, dense with live oaks, the leaves deep green even in winter.
As a boy, Doug Janezeck played in the quiet woods by the Bay and lived out his childhood in a community that, until recently, had been partly overlooked by the developer's plow.
