Damien Bullis and Wesley Erickson, Minneapolis home builders themselves, watched intently Wednesday as the walls took shape on a new structure just off Cedar Avenue.
"Cool!" Damien said.
He's 10. Wesley is 6. The shelter they built last week was a snow fort, not unlike the igloo that was rising outside Midwest Mountaineering, an outdoors-equipment store.
"We just piled up snow and dug it out," Damien said. "Two people could fit in it. We used it for snowball fights."
