Spring Fling, the annual chow-down and networking event, is set for 4:30 to 8 p.m. April 9 at Portside.
``It's the first outdoor event of the year in Portsmouth, and kicks off the spring season,'' said Bill Moody, chairman of the outings committee for the Portsmouth Division of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.
The event is sponsored by the Portsmouth Chamber.
Tickets are $8 for chamber members and $13 for non-members (and $13 at the gate).
Moody said he has attended since 1989, when he became involved with the chamber.
