FOR MORE THAN A year, five Western Branch homeowners have been getting ready.
Last fall, Paul G. English planted thousands of flower bulbs, while Beth Reavis plotted the combination of antiques, whimsical prints and busy teen-agers. Recently, Margaret M. Stephenson pressed old, hand-made linens, and Margaret S. Perkins gathered her family's toy collection. They have re-arranged furniture, eyed artwork, polished heirlooms, snatched daredevil weeds and prayed for fair weather. And now, they are ready for hundreds of visitors on Saturday.
