CASCADE -- No one is going to call Andrew Kalman a cheapskate. But he does have the cheapest car in Sunday's 77th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

Kalman's car, a 1994 BMW 3 Lightweight, not cheap by any man's pocketbook, cost him only $25. And it's a history-setting vehicle on the 14,110-foot mountain.

``Our BMW Club at home (San Francisco) conducts a raffle every year in which they try and figure out which is the neatest and most desirable BMW out there,'' Kalman said. ``So back in 1994 I bought a ticket for 25 bucks and, sure enough, I had a winner.''
