HOLLYWOOD -- It's not quite accurate to say that Don Johnson has gone from Miami Vice to San Francisco nice.
Still, Johnson, in his new role as Nash Bridges, a special police investigator in the famed city by the bay, is much more of a congenial guy than Sonny Crockett, the police officer Johnson played in Miami Vice for five seasons, beginning in 1984.
``Sonny could be a pretty uptight guy - never smiled that much,'' Johnson says. ``In Nash Bridges, I play a cop with a sense of humor. This is an action-cop show, but it's also a comedy.
``But what makes Nash Bridges ...
