The Thursday before Sturgis week found me with some time on my hands as I waited in the customer service area of a local bike shop.
Sitting at the store's comfortable counter-height reception table provided me a chance to pull out my laptop and start this column. It also gave me a chance to observe a broad cross-section of motorcyclists.
