NORFOLK -- George W. Loggans, of the Camellia Gardens Area, died April 1, 1996.
Mr. Loggans, a native of Greer, S.C., retired from the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant commander after 30 years of service. He attended Azalea Baptist Church and was a life member of the Retired Officers Association, Fleet Reserve Branch (NU)5, and the D.A.V. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was also honored to be a member of the Silver Eagles Association, which is composed of retired former enlisted aviators.
