Enforcement, exemptions, ambulatory centers will draw greatest scrutiny
The dogs may have stopped barking, but they haven't lost their bite.
That's the message key members of Congress are putting out about the Food and Drug Administration's new regulations on the reprocessing of single-use medical devices.
Officially, the legislators are in a "wait-and-see" mode. But several will be carefully watching how the new regulations are enforced and whether stricter measures should be proposed during the next Congress.
