Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb demonstrated his remarkable arm and quick feet in his recent 125-yard rushing game that placed him in NFL history among quarterbacks with high rushing yardage totals in a single game.
McNabb, 24, whose performance led the Eagles to a 23-20 victory against the Washington Redskins to retain their lead in their NFC East division at JET press time, is sixth behind the 1972 record of 127 yards.
As a second-year quarterback, McNabb's career-high achievement was the first 100-yard rushing game by a quarterback since Pittsburgh's Kordell Stewart ran for 103 yards in 1998.
