JUST AS Karma Butler was to embark on his first official performance in church at age 5, his father was ready to be amused.
``I was sitting there, preparing to get a good laugh,'' Eddie Butler said.
But his little boy wasn't funny. He was awesome.
``He did a terrific job,'' Eddie said. ``I didn't know he could sing.''
Thirteen years later, it's no surprise that Karma can sing, dance and act. It's no surprise that the Great Bridge High and Governor's School graduate can do anything.
When Karma says he hopes someday to have his own television show - along the lines of the ``Fame'' ...
