A Hartlepool-based IFA plans to push estate agents out of the housing market by establishing a network of IFAs capable of fulfilling the role of estate agents.
The new venture, 1st4PropertySales, is headed by Jim Gillespie, a director of three IFA firms.
Gillespie says he intends to smash the dominance of estate agents bound with tied mortgage advisers.
Through the www.1st4PropertySales.com website, housebuyers and sellers will able to deal in the property market with the help of franchisee IFAs without paying commission to estate agents.
