REaD GROUP managing director Mark Roy has stepped into the row over the Postal Preference Service (PPS), by offering to mediate between the Royal Mail and the DMA (UK) in an attempt to settle the dispute.
The offer is a response to the increasing furore over the PPS, which Roy believes is damaging the image of the direct marketing industry.
Roy says: "The time has come for arbitration. Instead of slinging mud, somebody needs to broker a deal -- I am suggesting that person could be me."
