EMD's Class 66 diesel-electric locomotive, 292 of which are in freight service throughout Britain on English, Welsh & Scottish and Freightliner trains, has received certification from DB (German Rail) after passing EBA (Eisenbahn-Bundesamt) safety testing and analysis.
