Brett Doyle yesterday received the much-needed boost he was looking for following his recent return to Britain from Hong Kong when he was appointed stable jockey to Brian Meehan, writes Rodney Masters.
Doyle will have the pick of the Lambourn trainer's 115-plus string ahead of Pat Eddery, who was Meehan's first choice last season.
