HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 2001
BMC Software Inc. (Nasdaq:BMCS) announced today the appointment of Robert E. ("Bob") Beauchamp as its new president and chief executive officer and a member of the company's board of directors. Mr. Beauchamp will succeed Max Watson who will remain as chairman and a member of the board of directors until April 30, 2001 and thereafter remain an employee of the company in an advisory capacity until April 2002.
Mr. Beauchamp, age 41, has been with BMC Software since 1988 and most recently held the position, senior vice president -- product management and development. Mr. ...
