Linear Motors
The LinMot P Hollow Slider Industrial Linear Motor enables material, such as wire or tubing, to pass through the center of the motor, and can provide a vacuum effect for air gripping applications. Filling bottles, painting, and pick-and-place are some additional applications ideally suited to this technology. If electronic sensors or actuators are set-up to move with the hollow slider motor, the cables can be connected directly to the electronics through the slider. This eliminates the need for elaborate, bulky designs used to route the cables close to the moving part.
