He's been through a career change, moved a couple of times, gained a growing family and was victorious in his first try at elected office.
But one thing hasn't changed: Dane County District attorney-elect Brian Blanchard is still game for some pickup hockey down at the park. After a few mushy-ice winters, he beams when he talks about this year's arctic weather.
``I grew up with that,'' said Blanchard. ``All the time I was growing up we'd walk down to Vilas and play all winter long.''
