NEW YORK -- What do you get when you combine bricks, clicks and a collective of emerging talent dying to make it in the fashion industry? The answer is Sowear.com, an e-commerce and content fashion hub that opened a store in Manhattan's East Village last month to drive both online and off-line business.
Sowear.com originally went live online in February, showcasing the work of 17 artists: designers, stylists, photographers and other creative types. The Web site has since blossomed to incorporate the work of more than 140 artists and designers.
