When Madonna gets married today at Scotland's Skibo Castle, she'll be wearing two five-inch diamond cuffs inspired by those the late fashion oracle Diana Vreeland used to wear ad infinitum. Some people thought she slept in them. Only Diana's weren't made of diamonds -- she couldn't afford them, and she never thought diamonds were a girl's best friend anyhow -- and hers were designed by Verdura in ivory. Madonna helped design her cuffs herself (what a huge surprise) along with the diamond cross, the one it's been rumored for days now that she'll wear at her wedding. For some reason that cross seems to be key.
