AST RESEARCH LAUNCHES "SUMMER GAMES" DEALER INCENTIVE PROGRAM
IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- AST Research Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTA) today announced a new dealer incentive program featuring increases in dealer margins of up to 23 percent and decreases in manufacturer's suggested retail prices of up to 19 percent on selected computer models as part of a "Summer Games" promotion.
AST is sponsoring this new promotion as a prelude to the kick-off of its multimillion-dollar network television advertising campaign during NBC's telecast of the 1988 Summer Olympic Games from Seoul, South Korea, Sept. 17-Oct. 2.
