North Korea has denied entrance of a South Korean cargo ship to its harbors for more than 20 days, causing much damage to the businesses involved.
Hansung Shipping Co. Ltd. reported that its ship Sona has been denied entrance to the Nampo port since Dec. 28. After waiting in the outer harbor for nearly two weeks, company officials said that the vessel is about to turn back to Seoul, as food for the crew ran out.
``North Korea gave no official reason for the refusal of entrance,'' said a Hansung official yesterday.
