VitalCom Inc. (Nasdaq:VCOM) Monday announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Nihon Kohden America Inc. based in Foothill Ranch, Calif.
Under the terms of the agreement, Nihon Kohden will purchase, market and sell VitalCom's new PatientNet(TM) infrastructure, software and components to hospitals not currently being served directly by VitalCom. Further, VitalCom and Nihon Kohden will wirelessly connect Nihon Kohden's medical devices to PatientNet using VitalCom's unique OpenNet(R) technology.
