Sonic Corp. (Nasdaq/NM:SONC) today announced that Investor's Business Daily has named Sonic to its list of companies that combine strong growth with stable earnings. In compiling the IBD list for its December 12, 2000 issue, Investor's Business Daily screened more than 10,000 public companies against the paper's stringent criteria to identify a select 117 companies that have produced the smoothest earnings growth over the past five years.
A key concept behind the IBD List was to recognize companies that have achieved minimal variability around their five-year trend line in earnings. ...
