Jan. 10--LAS VEGAS--W. Alan McCollough believes the consumer electronics industry is at the dawn of the digital age.
With new digital products and services on the horizon -- many on display at the annual Consumer Electronics Show -- the top executive at Circuit City Stores Inc. thinks the future is bright despite short-term factors such as a slowing economy and weakening personal computer sales.
"I still believe there is great potential for this industry," said Mc- Collough, the president and chief executive officer of Circuit City.
