Robo-Mower
Homeowners have long known that mowing the grass would be a lot easier if someone else pushed the lawn mower. Now, two inventors have come up with the answer -- a computer-guided, robotic lawn mower.
The "Lawn Ranger" is a "self-propelled lawn mower with eyes and a brain," according to Jim Hammond and Ray Rafaels of Technical Solutions, Inc., who conceived and designed the machine Sensors built into the lawn mower let the unit "see" where the grass needs to be cut, while the mower's computer "brain" guides it to that area.
