Rocky Mount Plans to Sell Operating Assets to Ithaca ROCKY MOUNT (FNS) -- Rocky Mount Undergarment Co., Inc., said Monday that it signed a letter of intent with Ithaca Industries, Inc., to sell its operating assets to Ithaca for about $13.4 million, including the assumption of debt.
Ithaca, a private manufacturer of underwear and hosiery, will assume payment of substantially all of the liabilities of Rocky Mount, which total about $5.6 million as of Oct. 2. Rocky Mount said it will retain the ownership of its real estate.
