Panasonic Broadcast & Television Systems has announced the PT-L701SDU ultra-portable XGA projector, the world's first SD (Secure Digital) Memory Card model.

The PT-L701SDU comes complete with 16MB SD Memory Card, a PC card adapter, and software that converts BMP or TIFF images and entire Microsoft PowerPoint files into JPEG images, allowing PC-free presentations using material even from PCs that are not equipped with an SD card slot.
