The Cincinnati Arts Association, which manages and administers the Aronoff Center for the Arts, Music Hall and Memorial Hall, reported a surplus of $172,625 for the fiscal year of 1999-2000, up from a $9,504 surplus in 1998-99.
Operating budget for the three theaters was $8.2 million for 1999-2000. That represents a $300,000 budget cut from the 1998-99 year of $8.5 million.
The CAA said 82 percent of its earned income came from rentals, ticket sales and concessions.
The CAA has posted a profit for its operations for each of its five years.
