OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ --
Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Kansas City, Inc. (KFHP-KC) today announced it has reached a sale agreement with Coventry Health Care of Kansas, Inc. The proposed transaction means that most of KFHP-KC's approximately 55,000 members would become members of Coventry Health Care, pending regulatory and other approvals sometime this spring. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
