One major change to the ethics process involves how ACA fields complaints. ACA sections no longer field complaints as if they were "ethics" complaints. (Only the National Ethics Committee can determine if a grievance constitutes an ethics violation.) Requests for action by parents are simply considered "complaints" and are handled at the local level. A section's complaint resolution committee or chair is charged with handling complaints.
