QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced that it has entered into a CDMA modem card license agreement with Matsushita Electronic Components Co., Ltd. Under the terms of the royalty-bearing agreement, QUALCOMM has granted Matsushita Electronic Components a worldwide license under QUALCOMM's CDMA technology and patents to build, develop, manufacture and distribute modem cards for current and third-generation (WCDMA, cdma2000, TD-SCDMA) and cdma2000 1xEV applications.
