Red Hat (NASDAQ:RHAT) the leader in developing, deploying and managing open source Internet infrastructure solutions, has introduced the Beta version of Red Hat Linux for Itanium(tm)-based systems. This is the first publicly available beta from Red Hat for Intel's forthcoming release of an Intel(r) Itanium(tm) architecture and is available for public download at Red Hat's ftp site: ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/ia64.
