DIXON TICONDEROGA ACQUIRES NATIONAL PEN & PENCIL COMPANY
VERO BEACH, Fla., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Dixon Ticonderoga Company (AMEX: DXT) today announced an agreement in principle to purchase the assets of National Pen & Pencil Company, of Shelbyville, Tenn., from UST Enterprises, Inc.
The transaction was for cash and a note, the amount of which was not disclosed.
Gino N. Pala, president of Dixon Ticonderoga, said National Pen & Pencil, with sales of approximately $8.5 million, will be a valuable addition to his company's line of writing ...
