Woodward Secures Contract With Low-cost, Reliable Control
Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. (P&WC) named the supplier who has been selected to design and develop a low-cost fuel metering and electronic engine control system for a turbofan version of the PW600 engine family. P&WC selected Woodward Aircraft Engine Systems (WAES), which is based in Rockford, Illinois and a business of Woodward Governor Company (Nasdaq: WGOV). Terms and conditions of the agreement were not disclosed.
