The results from simulations of 'morning glory' weather patterns could help to improve safety for aircraft, according to Doug Christie, a morning glory expert who works for the UN.
Christie has reportedly examined weather patterns connected to aircraft crashes and has suggested that as many as a third of all weather-related crashes could be caused by invisible morning glories. He has studied the weather during some air crashes and combined it with the information provided from sources such as the flight recorder.
