A reasonably priced, early detection test for lung tumors is being offered by the University of Cincinnati's Barrett Cancer Center, part of a major effort by the center to focus on lung cancer.
The center's lung cancer research projects span the progress of the disease, with programs ready to start on prevention, early detection and treatment.
The Barrett Center has recruited two lung cancer specialists, medical oncologist Dr. Abdul-Rahman Jazieh and chest surgeon Dr. John Howington, to build the program.
