Dogs have been living with people for thousands of years. That's a special relationship. How did it start? And where did dogs come from?
The search for answers takes us so far into the past that there are no written records. Scientists have been piecing together different kinds of clues. Some clues come from studies of how people lived more than 10,000 years ago, in the Stone Age. At that time, people made a living by gathering plant roots and seeds and by hunting.
