Puerto Ventanas' port operator invested US$4mil in a new copper concentrates storage plant, which will start up by the end of this month. Disputada de Las Condes will transfer its copper concentrates production to the Puerto Ventanas port due to the new facility. According to Puerto Ventanas, owned by Gener, the new plant will allow it to increase cargo transportation by 200,000 tons per year.
